This gasket is for Ascaso Dream, Steel, Arc, and Basic made before 09/12. You will need to change your gaskets every 1-3 years. You should also keep a spare under the tray for when you need to replace the gasket.
You will know when to change the gasket: When the coffee starts to overflow from the handle when making a coffee. You won't have the correct pressure to extract the coffee, leaving a diluted watery taste in the coffee.
