How to use a puck screen:
1.Fill the portafilter with ground coffee, use WDT, leveller, and tamper to prepare the puck
2. Insert this shower screen onto the prepared puck.
3. Make espresso.
4. Remove the screen before banging the puck out in the knock box.
5. Rinse under tap and clean with coffee cleaner such as Puly caff or Urnex
As this screen is dense - you should warm up 1st by inserting into portafilter, and make a shot (without coffee in the basket) before use. If the group temp is 94 °C - this wafer will drop the temp by 1-2 °C, if not cooled - this suits 100% arabica coffees - that is like 88-92 °C temperatures.
