Who are COMANDANTE?

• COMANDANTE^® is a small, family-run project created by speciality coffee and engineering professionals. They believe that if coffee tools exist, then they should be produced responsibly, using local, food-safe materials, and to uncompromising quality standards. This ensures a lifetime of performance minimizes their environmental impact.

Where are COMANDANTE grinders made?

• COMANDANTE^® grinders and burrs are manufactured and assembled by our passionate and international team of craftsmen and women just outside of Munich, Bavaria.

What are the best grind sizes for Comandante hand grinders?

• Espresso Machine: 9-12 clicks. Moka Pot: 12-15 clicks. AeroPress: 14-24 clicks. V60: 20-32 clicks.

How long will a Comandante grinder blade last?

• We developed our own very special high-nitrogen alloy to ensure that your burr will last a lifetime.

What is the difference between Comandante MK3 and MK4?

•  The new COMANDANTE^® MK4 has a new frame that keeps coffee beans from getting stuck in the hole that previously received the handle mount on the MK3. The MK4 also comes with a clear polymer jar, as well as an amber glass jar.

Is the new COMANDANTE red Clix worth the money?

• You can expand the click range, resulting in even greater precision and the grinding stays consistent and smooth - Red Clix RX35 is ideal if you want C40 to dial in espresso.  

Is the COMANDANTE  C40 worth it?

• The COMANDANTE®  C40 is a solid grinder, well made, and produces great coffee. I bring it to work and it goes on holiday with me ...I absolutely love it
