This is the new anti lime type - that uses PTFE inside so the valve does not stick from a lime build up. It lasts much longer before it is affected by a build-up of lime. Made from brass and PTFE gasket.

This can be used in almost all boilers - as it is the standard 3/8" - if you have lime in the water - then this will last much longer.

You may need a new valve if:

• Steam escapes from the valve when the machine is on - constant hissing. Typical of older machines or when the boiler has lime buildup.
• No steam from the steam wand, but hot water comes from the coffee groups.
