Details: This is the 8mm version for models 1-3 years 8.5mm would suit older models with more wear on the group and portafilter. Silicon is easier to install and remove, wont come away in pieces when old and no smell, like th erubber gaskets.

When changed your coffee cream will improve as you will have achieved the maximum extraction pressure of 9 bars. (The pressure will be constant as the filter basket has a full seal.). You should change your gaskets every 6 months, 12 months at the latest. The longer you leave it the more difficult it will be to remove them.The group seals become brittle over time due heat from the porta filter and with age.When removing the old one it will probably fall apart as it will be so brittle. We recommend that you always keep spare gaskets.
