This is the smaller 61.5mm compact pump found in home or small espresso machines that are plumbed.
For the larger 200L 99mm pump click here. It is a Mid volume 50L brass pump with a balanced by-pass, to adjust the pump pressure. It's factory set at 9 bar so you don't need to adjust it.
Rotary vane pumps can fail, when debris jams the bearings or rust forms in the bearings due to age or inactivity.
Water or steam can splutter from the groups indicating poor flow of water. If, when you dismount the pump, you can't rotate the shaft with your hand easily - then the bearings are damaged/ rusted and the pump must be replaced.
