Details:
This kit has all the gaskets for the coffee group and steam tap.
Over time the group gasket will go hard and brittle and no longer forms a tight seal, pressure will escape and you will have poor crema.
The shower screen becomes blocked even with diligent daily group backflushing.
Portafilter can slide over to the right over time - a paper shim included will correct this bringing it back to the 6 o clock position.
Over a longer period - the steam tap or water tap will begin to leak, as the rubber shrinks and hardens.
After maintenance you will need to descale and clean the coffee filter baskets, shower screen and portafilter.
Descaling is for machines with a built in internal water tank and not suitable for plumbed models.
You will need this kit if:
Steam taps leaks - constant steam escaping.
Water taps leaks - constant drip
Coffee overflowing from portafilter when making a coffee.
Less coffee cream than usual
Bitter tasting coffee
