This Gaggia naked portafilter fits both Classic* and the new pro versions and comes with the 25mm deep basket, that can take up to 21 grams.
This naked portafilter helps to control and diagnose the extraction of espresso shots and assures a pure espresso with a great crema. You can see if you have correctly tamped the coffee, used too little or to much coffee or if the grind is off.
It's an amazing espresso tool for training, because it exposes channeling which is caused by the coffee grounds not properly compacted or tamped correctly, or it just guarantees a perfect show.
This naked portafilter is made from chrome-coated, solid brass for maximum heat stability.
