In order to improve the percolation process, IMS offers a high-quality coating using quartz nanotechnology, the NANOQUATRZ coating, for integrated and reinforced membrane shower screens.

This is a high-quality competition shower screen with an innovative and very fine membrane that allows the ideal distribution of water on the coffee in the portafilter. This very fine membrane keeps the group clean and slows the flow of water for a better and more consistent extraction.

NT Features:

  • The advantage of this technology is its hydro-repellent effect - water comes down in a shower of tiny drops uniformly distributed over the whole surface of the shower head, saturating the coffee evenly.
  • The coating makes it easier to remove used coffee pods, and it also makes it easier to clean thereby rendering the antibacterial nature of the surfaces extremely effective.
  • Non-stick coating made of NANOQUARTZ increases the resistance to corrosion and chemicals.

The nanotech treatment is an anti-adhesion treatment that increases corrosion resistance and is suitable for food contact.
Nanotech is a universal coating for all materials certified for food contact according to NSF-51 and MOCA 1935/04. ISO 10993-5: 2009 non-cytotoxic certificate.

Just as expected
Very happy with the shower screen. I don't think it'll make too much of a difference in the quality of espresso, however, it has remained a lot cleaner and does look really good!

This will fit on the Lelit Bianca PL162T, It is an E61 shower so fits any E61 group.

Hi Mark, It's not listed to fit Ascaso - but the dimensions are the same so should be ok. Shipping by EMS - it may get caught in Christmas traffic - probable ETA would be after Christmas.
