This palisander rosewood leveller looks very like walnut so it will match tamper bases and portafilter handles. Simple height adjustment using the washers - adjust additional 5mm to 10 mm depth
Before tamping- using this leveller will allow you to obtain the correct density, which will minimise channelling and increase coffee extraction, which ensures greater consistency in the amount of espresso served.

- This Joe Frex coffee leveller creates a perfectly flat surface to tamp upon, creating more consistent puck density. Baristas leave a slight mound or indentation in the coffee, which means they tamp down inconsistencies in the puck density.
- Less channelling & micro-channelling - improper or rushed distribution, is more likely to channel which affects taste.
