Universal open double coffee spout for Cimbali and Faema
Details:
This is a chrome-plated brass, double, open coffee spout for Casadio, Cimbali and Faema models with *16 mm thread.
The new chrome plating process was certified by NSF / ANSI 51 Food Equipment Materials.
The spout is wide enough for Americano or double Cappuccino, Latte, etc.
Using an open spout, you can see if the pour is uneven, indicating channelling, poor tamping, or uncompacted pucks.
💡While the thread will fit - it may not fit exactly at the right angle - you may have to add PTFT tape or thread locker glue to get it to sit perfectly.
Remove existing spout - some are glued and some are factory tightened. 💡 If you cannot remove it easily try immersing it in boiling water - this will either loosen the glue or expand the metal.
Clean existing spout - rub with a cloth to remove existing glue or debris.
Screw on the spout clockwise:
If the spout finishes just short of straight - insert a screwdriver into the spout and tighten clockwise.
If the spout finishes halfway and won't go any further no matter how you try - you will have to use PTFE Sealing Tape or Threadlocker Blue 242 glue...while inconvenient it is necessary.
