This is a 127°C contact thermostat for La Pavoni Europiccola Lever models.
This 127°C contact thermostat is a reset safety thermostat for newer la Pavoni lever espresso machines with a pressure stat.
Should the element exceed 127°C, this reset safety thermostat will close, popping up the red button and cutting off power to the boiler element. This safety thermostat prevents overheating and over-pressure of the boiler. Simply pressing the red button back down will re-activate power to the element.
