Your machine needs some care every so often.
- Changing the group gasket and shower screen every 1-2 years will prevent you from losing pressure from the group. This will enhance the coffee flavour and you should have more coffee cream.
- The steam tap can leak over time and steam can escape from the steam wand. Replacing the rod o rings will stop the steam wand leaking and replacing the steam tap nut and spring will stop the leaks from the steam wand nut.
- Group gaskets become hard and brittle over time and become very difficult to remove. Replacing annually will enable smooth removal with an awl or screwdriver.
- You should perform a group descale every 3-6 months, to avoid group solenoid valve and group from blocking with mineral buildup such as lime. Easy to prevent not so easy to replace.
