This gasket is made from heat-resistant silicone, which lasts longer; this makes a big difference in a busy environment.
The internal grooves and soft consistency make for easy installation and removal, and the light colour helps to detect if there is a build-up of coffee debris 

Why buy?

  • When you change your coffee cream will improve as you will have achieved the maximum extraction pressure of 9 bars. (The pressure will be constant as the filter basket has a full seal.)

💡If the machine is 3 years or older, your PF may sit at 5 o'clock - use Paper Shim Gasket 72mm to make it sit at 6 o'clock

Won't fit:

Easy to replace - all you need is patience and an awl or a sharp screwdriver.

  • Remove the shower screen by unscrewing the main screw.
  • Remove the old gasket: Use an awl to remove the gasket or a sharp screwdriver - it will come away in pieces as it will be brittle.
  • Insert silicon gasket - 💡be careful as they are very soft and can tear.
  • Screw back the shower screen.
  • Changing the group gasket every year will make this job relatively easy to do.

When to replace: When the coffee starts to overflow from the handle when making a coffee. You won't have the correct pressure to extract the coffee, leaving a diluted watery taste in the coffee.

Fits my Oscar and is leek free
The gasket fits perfectly into the group and is softer, which for me is plus because the portafilter is easier to attach to the group.
