Saeco has designed this descaler specifically for their machines - including Gaggia.
Descaling your Saeco/Gaggia coffee machine frequently with this descaler is very important as 90 % of coffee machine malfunctions are caused by limescale built up in the water system.
It is recommended that you descale your coffee machine with Saeco descaler at least every 3 -6 months.

What descaling will do for your machine:

• Remove scale debris from blocking the electro-valve solenoid - when that happens you get no coffee and you will have to replace the solenoid valve.
• Prevent the steam valve from getting blocked with scale - when this happens your steam power is reduced and you may have to replace the steam valve.
• Remove scale build-up in the boiler - when this happens it will take longer to heat up the boiler.
