My Rancillio was showing its age after 15 years of morning coffees and I was dreading the thought of having to replace it. It was getting noisier, taking longer to draw shots and then it began to leak (not much, but enough to make me anxious).
A few YouTube video and Google searches later, I discovered BlueStarCoffee and its VERY AFFORDABLE parts listing for my model. The Rancillio brass boiler is pretty much bomb proof and relatively easy to overhaul if you are at all equipped with tools, aren’t afraid to get into the guts of the machine, and provided you take good pictures during the tear down process (to avoid having to guess what goes where as you reassemble it!). This new pump (make sure you get the correct voltage!) makes my machine as good as new again. Hurray for user repairable machines!
I highly encourage you to make them your go-to place if you need to replace a part or want to give new life to an otherwise perfectly good machine that needn’t go off to the trash heap!
