The ULKA EAX5 is made outside Milan Italy by the CEME group.

It is made with a brass stem which lasts longer and is stronger than the plastic version. If your model had a plastic stem pump EAP5 - this would still fit and be stronger.
Pumps have an average life of between 15-30,000 cups (4- 8 years) and lose their ability to extract at 9 bars of pressure over time.

You may need to replace this pump if:

• If, when you turn the coffee switch on, you get no water.
• If your pump is 4 years or older, you are getting less coffee crema than you used to get, and then the pump pressure is fading - time to get a new one.
