Details:
The ULKA EP5 is made outside Milan Italy by the CEME group.
Pumps have an average life of 15-30,000 cups (4- 8 years) and lose their ability to extract at 9 bars of pressure over time.
This is the same as the brass stemmed version ULKA EX5 - but with a plastic stem - which suits plastic fittings. If using steel or brass fittings - do not over-tighten.
You may need to replace this pump if:
If, when you turn the coffee switch on, you get no water.
If your pump is 4 years or older, you are getting less coffee crema than you used to get, and then the pump pressure is fading - time to get a new one.
