Details:
This is a fuse to prevent the pump from overheating. It cuts off the power if the pump reaches 110°C or over.
This can happen if the pump pumps dry for a long period, of if the pump is left running for over 60 sec. Some pumps are rated for 1 min on and 1 min off, if over 1 min - the pump overheats.
Check your model to see it it has a fuse, the pump may be fine.

The vibratory ULKA pump on my Gaggia Classic has the resettable thermal fuse missing (I am unsure if it came like that from the factory or if a previous owner removed it).
Would this thermal fuse fit that pump?

I don't know if the Classics came with a fuse or not.
You can use this fuse on any Ulka pump and is easy to fit.
