This is an anti-lime anti-vacuum valve -the best antivac valve in our opinion and fits almost all boilers as 3/4'' is the most common size used.
Lime will not stick to steel!
With brass valves, the lime can stick on the plunger causing the valve to stay open.
Takes just 1-2 min to replace your hissing valve and will restore boiler pressure - you will probably need PTFE tape - see below.
You may need a new valve if:
- Steam escapes from the valve when the machine is on - constant hissing. Typical of older machines or when the boiler has lime buildup.
- No steam from the steam wand, but hot water comes from the coffee groups
