This Gaggia DM0704 is a generic, after-market shower screen, is made of stainless steel, and is compatible with most Gaggia home coffee machines.
The shower disc needs to be changed regularly or coffee becomes bitter as the old coffee turns to carbon inside the shower screen, which mixes with the coffee coming out.
Change every 2-3 years.
