This spoon-like scale measure in 0.1 grams suits small amounts of coffee for espresso or filter coffee
The spoon can hold up to about 15 grams of coffee, which is enough for one cup of coffee.
It can display in grams or ounces, has a tare function and automatic switch-off.

Espresso shot approx 7 grams
To set the grind you need to know how much coffee is in the portafilter.
It should take anywhere from 18 - 25 sec for a 30ml pour.

Filter coffee approx 12 grams
This device is extremly handy as it enables you to weigh the exact amount of coffee grounds for a single fresh pour over coffee you require up to the volume of about 12g ground coffee.

Instructions for use:

Insert 7 grams of the ground coffee into spoon
Add the ground coffee to portafilter
Time the shot - approx 18 -25 seconds to fill 30ml shot glass
If it takes longer that 20 sec to fill 30ml shot glass - then grind is too fine and coffee will taste burnt.
If it pours to quick then coffee will be watery with little crema.
