E61 group 8.5mm version

Description: 

Cafelat was the first to produce silicon gaskets and still has the super soft silicon that is lacking in competitors' gaskets.

This 8.5mm version suits E61 machines over  2 years - if younger, you may be interested in the 8mm version, otherwise, the portafilter may be a little to get on. 

Made from soft and heat-resistant silicone, which lasts longer, than rubber gaskets.
The internal groves and soft consistency make for easy installation and removal and the light colour helps to detect if there is a build-up of coffee debris 

Why buy?

• If you notice that there's water leaking from the area above the portafilter, known as the group head, then your gasket is probably to blame.
• When changed your coffee cream will improve as you will have achieved the maximum extraction pressure of 9 bars. (The pressure will be constant as the filter basket has a full seal.)
