How do coffee grinder cleaning tablets work?

Pulygrind is designed to clean the grinder blade burrs and the grinding chamber from coffee deposits. Made from a powder formed by small crystals based on gluten-free food starches, with very high absorbency for oils and fats.
The grinder cleaning agent passes between the burrs, and the crystals to clean them from rancid coffee fats and oils, removing bitter and unpleasant residues which would affect the taste of the espresso.
