Where do you ship from?

The Republic of Ireland. Flag Ireland is in the EU

Do you offer free delivery?

 Flag Yes - we offer free shipping with orders over 100.00€/£75 to Ireland and the UK.

What shipping company do you use?

DHL, GLS and International Tracked and Untracked (= Your national post)

Where do you ship to?

Almost all countries - If your country is not listed - ask us and we can dispatch via DHL.

VAT Queries

 Do I need to pay VAT or Duty if delivered to the UK?  

  • <>No VAT is payable - 20% UK VAT is already included in the price shown.
  • < >Duty is payable - If the order is above 135£ | (Royal Mail will collect 2.5% Duty approx +12£ admin fee).

 Do we need to pay VAT or Duty if delivered to Northern Ireland? No! NI is exempt from EU VAT.

 Do we need to pay VAT if we have a business in the UK? No! - But you need to register for a business account - See here. If you have an eligible VAT-registered business in the UK (excluding Ireland) then VAT will not be applied to your order or Invoice.

Flag  Do we need to pay VAT if we have a business in Ireland? Yes! VAT is charged on products delivered to an Irish delivery address (VAT is claimed back against sales)

 Do we pay extra VAT or Duty if delivered within the EU? No! No VAT or duty is already included.

 Do we need to pay VAT if we have a business in the EU? No! - But you need to register for a business account - See here. If you have an eligible VAT-registered business in the EU (excluding Ireland) then VAT will not be applied to your order or Invoice.

How do I contact Blue Star Coffee?

All emails will be addressed during our normal business hours of Monday – Friday, 9 A.M. – 5 P.M GMT Greenwich Mean Time. Emails received after business hours and on weekends will be addressed promptly when business hours resume.

Shipping & Handling:

If you place your order Monday - Friday by 2:00 pm GMT, it ships the next day. Excluding holidays and our non-tracking economy service, which is dispatched every 3/4 days approx).

Orders placed on Saturday and Sunday will ship out the following Monday. Excluding holidays and our non-tracking economy service, which is dispatched every 3/4 days approx)

DHL dispatches at 11:00 am the next day and  + GLS  dispatches before 16:00 (excluding holidays and Saturday and Sunday)

Delivery cost & shipping times:

Shipping rates and deliveries vary according to the country and type selected.

To work out shipping cost: (Transit times are approximate and not a guarantee)
- Just place products into the basket and go to check out.
- Select your country and the lowest delivery estimate will be selected.
- There will be more than one shipping option available for most countries.

How do discount codes work?

Discount codes must be manually entered in the “Discount” box at checkout.
Discount codes are available for one use per customer.
If you forget to apply the code before checking out; a refund cannot be issued, but you will be able to use any discount you received on your next order!
If for some reason a discount code is not working, please contact us on Live Chat before checking out.

Will I receive an order confirmation?

After placing your order, you will receive a confirmation email, within 10 min. If your order confirmation does not appear in your inbox, please check your spam folder.

How do I track my order?

If you selected tracking, you will receive a dispatched email confirming dispatch and tracking number. If you are having problems tracking your order, please contact us here

What if an item arrives damaged?

If you receive a damaged item or wrong item, please contact us here immediately and we will replace the item right away.

How do I cancel my order?

⚠️ Once an order is placed it cannot be cancelled. You can contact us here and we will assist you as soon as possible.

How do I return my order?

What is your return policy?

We want you to be happy so you will return to us in the future. You may return it for a complete refund within 30 days of placing your order.

All items must be unused, in original packaging, and in a saleable condition - Items returned in any other condition will not be accepted nor will a refund be issued.

In order to return your purchase, please submit your request here and include your order # and the reason for your return.

Products returned will be at your expense. Once received, we will issue you a refund in the form of your original payment, less the original shipping fee, within 5 work days.

Is stainless-steel magnetic?

Some stainless-steel products have a high iron content and are magnetic, while some stainless steel has a low iron content and is not magnetic.

Ferritic stainless-steel grades 409, 430, and 439 and martensitic stainless steel 410, 420 and 440 are magnetic. Austenitic Stainless Steel such as 304 and 316 contains a lot of austenite, meaning they are non-ferromagnetic. For more information click here.

What currency will I be charged in?

The pricing on our website will display in your local currency. However, as we are an Irish company your card will be charged in euros.

Can I get my invoice in a different currency?

Blue Star Coffee charges in Euros. We are unable to offer invoices in other currencies.
