Hi, do I have to remove that little rubber inside of the pressure gauge or not? With the rubber in its reading 12+ bar. Without it is reading 8 bar. The pressure has never been adjusted before. Not sure which is correct.

Hi, The gauge kit, comes with a rubber gasket and a metal gauze filter. The gasket is just to make a seal so its wont leak and the metal filter prevents debris getting into the gauge. Most Gaggia machines were set at 12 bar - so your model is probably 12/14 bars. If you are reading 8 bars with the gasket - then the gasket is probably not fitting correctly and is partially blocking the gauge.

Hello,
Is this portafilter also suitable for Rancilio Silvia? Thanks

Hi Attila, No not suitable for Rancilio - search for " #4975 " (Portafilter Pressure Gauge) - this is the same gauge and can be added to the existing Rancilio portafilter.

Hi my machine requires a 3 prong porta filter as opposed to a 2 prong such as the gaggia do you have a 3 prong porta filter available that is compatible with this pressure gauge?

Hi Adri an, We have the gauge separately. Using our search bar insert " #4975 " or " #5031". Both of these gauges are 3/8 " which fits most PF spouts.
