Details:

This is a generic Steam thermostat 155°C M4 for Gaggia and Grimac machines.

Pimp your classic with this popular upgrade - it replaces the 145°C steam thermostat for extra steam.

With this modification, you will have more steam - Aluminium base for faster response times.

You may also be interested in the Gaggia Coffee thermostat 104°C for specialty 100% arabica coffees.

Easy to install

Turn off the machine and plug out from the socket
Open the top of the coffee machine and remove the wires from the thermostat.
When replacing, do not over-tighten the thermostat.
Works best with thermal paste for a better response time.Thermal Paste syringe for thermostats.

It is always best practice to bleed off some water, from the steam wand before steaming to open up some space in the boiler for steam. Fill the boiler back up after steaming by running water through the group.

After going through all prior troubleshooting on my Gaggia New Baby, I ordered this part in hopes it would fix my steam wand woes. Nailed it, and caps are back on the menu. Part labeling differs from original in terms of temperature units or classification (not sure what - 250 becomes 155c), which means you or a future owner could struggle to ID the part well next fix, but it's what you need to fix your ish.
