Isomac was founded by Giovanni Fontana - the production chief in Faema during the sixties, and has been making espresso coffee machines since 1977 in Milan Italy - the home of espresso machines. Isomac specializes in E61 prosumer espresso coffee machines, such as Professional PID, Pro 6.1pid, Pro 6.1, Pro 5.1, Pro 3.1, Mondiale, Mondiale PID, and Kia. These E61 groups feature PID to adjust the coffee temperature, dual boilers for coffee temperature control and traditional heat exchangers. Trational ULKA eax5 and EX5 pumps are used for maximum espresso extraction at 9 bars.
