This thermostat is made from brass for greater heat stability.
If coffee is too cold or too hot it may be time to replace the boiler thermostats.
Easy to install Just screw off the old thermostat, from the boiler, after removing the wires and the top of the coffee machine.

How to install a contact thermostat in a coffee machine
Turn off the coffee machine and plug it out from the socket.
Open the lid to get access to the boiler.
Remove the wires from the thermostat
Unscrew the old thermostat, anticlockwise from the boiler.
Clean the area from any old thermal paste.
Add the thermal paste to the base of the thermostat - (not the threads ).💡 Hand tighten only - ⚠️Never use a spanner as the soft brass threaded shaft will snap off.
Screw in the new thermostat and insert back the wires.
You are good to go!
💡 Suggestions:
Use Thermal Paste for better thermal contact - see below.
Replace the steam thermostat at the same time - if one has failed the other won't be far behind or has failed already.
