Compact rotary vane pump- 71mm

This is a Nuert Compact 50L brass pump with balanced by-pass, to adjust the pump pressure. It's factory set at 9 bar so you don't need to adjust it.

Rotary vane pumps can fail, when debris jams the bearings or rust forms in the bearings due to age or inactivity.
Water or steam can splutter from the groups indicating the poor flow of water. If, when you dismount the pump, you can't rotate the shaft with your hand easily - then the bearings are damaged and the pump must be replaced.

When to replace:

• If no water coming from the group - you hear noise coming from the machine.
• If you can no longer turn the shaft of the pump by hand.

💡 Rotary vane pumps last a long time but have certain weaknesses, they can get blocked with particles that come into the water system from time to time, causing the ball bearings to seize up. Make sure that the pump is protected by a filter (0.15mm mesh) to prevent the entry of particles and foreign bodies. Click here or see below.
