This is a Standard 3/8" Boiler Safety Valve - 1.8 Bar pressure relief.
Safety valves open up at a certain pressure if the boiler pressure should rise too much due to pressure or PCB malfunction.
When to replace a safety valve?
The safety valve should be replaced if you hear it hissing after the machine has warmed up. ie reached 9 bars. It remains open due to a blockage with lime or spring that has lost its strength. You will need plumber tape to seal the joint.
