Rocket PF Group Gasket Set

Details:

​This is available in both, original, and kits - 8mm and 8.5mm for older models.

The sets include -  2 group gaskets and a paper shim gasket in case the portafilter slides over to the right.

If you notice water leaking from the area above the portafilter, known as the group head, your gasket is probably to blame.

When changed your coffee cream will improve as you will have achieved the maximum extraction pressure of 9 bars. (The pressure will be constant as the filter basket has a full seal.)

Choose:

• 8mm for new machines - original 8mm or 8mm gasket set 
• 8.5mm for machines 4 years or older - Silicon or rubber.​​​

Options:

• Size: (Ø 72.57mm x 57mm x 8mm) Models less than 4 years - Rubber - Orignal or generic.
• Size: (Ø 73mm x 57mm x 8.5mm) Models older than 4 years- Rubber or Silicon​

Gasket change:

• Commercial replace every 6 months,
• Home replace every 12 months 

The longer you leave it the more difficult it will be to remove them. The group seals become brittle over time due to heat from the portafilter and with age. When removing the old one it will probably fall apart as it will be so brittle. We recommend that you always keep spare gaskets.
