This short handle is made from American Canaletto walnut and has a short handle with a 12mm thread M12.

American Walnut is also known as 'Canaletto Walnut' and differs from European Walnut for shades of darker colors always thwarted by the variegated fibers and light tones.

Before you buy:

1. Measure your own portafilter thread in case you have a different size, as there are wider M12 sizes as well.
2. Check that you can remove your existing handle, as some come glued** and are very hard to remove.

💡If the portafilter handle is glued:

• It might be possible to remove the handle by immersing the portafilter in a bowl of boiling water - leave the handle sticking up so it is not damaged.
• Leave it for 10 min.,
• Wrap a towel around the portafilter and try loosening the handle.
