Silicon coffee group gasket
Description:
This silicon gasket is made by REPA - one of Europe's leading spare part providers to the catering industry.
Made from heat resistant silicone, which lasts longer and wont break apart when removing, unlike rubber gaskets that go hard and brittle after 12 months.
Why replace your group gasket: If you notice that there's water leaking from the area above the portafilter, known as the group head, then your gasket is probably to blame.When changed your coffee cream will improve as you will have achieved the maximum extraction pressure of 9 bars. (The pressure will be constant as the filter basket has a full seal.)
We recommend that you always keep a spare group gasket and change your gaskets every 6/12 months.
