Details:
Finca Las Mercedes is a Colombian coffee that has been handed down for generations, with a rich family history.
Their coffee journey began in 1913 when their great-grandfather, Lisímaco Guerra, began his plantations in the Remolinos region of Ciudad Bolívar. Their grandfather, Eduardo Guerra Sánchez, continued the family’s legacy by acquiring land in the La Carmina region of Ciudad Bolívar, Antioquia, Colombia, where he also began his work as a coffee and cocoa merchant. The coffee of this finca is grown under different types of shading: 70% cultivated in the sun, 20% partially shaded and 10% cultivated in the shade, the particular drying method gives a great sweetness to the final result.
The cup will be full-bodied and velvety with an incredible sweetness balanced by acidity, present but not invasive, the distinctive aromas are blueberry and milk chocolate in aftertaste.
