This is a Stainless steel filter basket for ESE single-dose coffee pods - see below.
This basket fits into most 58mm portafilters and allows you to use ESE single-dose 7-gram coffee pods with a 44mm diameter.
With a pod filter basket, you have the option to use decaf coffee pods as an option - In a commercial or home environment. Ideal for decaf coffee pods such as Agust Decaf.
ESE pods are cheaper than capsules and contain 40% more coffee (7.2 grams V 5 grams)
Safe for the environment - they are biodegradable and compostable - like tea bags.

Although it’s 58mm, the 17mm doesn’t work with the E61 brew group on my ECM Mechanika. After inserting an e.s.e. pod, there’s no space left for engaging the filter basket logs into the locking mechanism on the brew head. Might eventually find other use…

Hi Yu, Yes it will fit the Profitec Go - probably the 17mm version, as it fits most models - but cannot be certain. 18mm suits the E61 groups as it is deeper.
