Remove existing spout - some are glued and some are factory tightened. 💡 If you cannot remove it easily try immersing it in boiling water - this will either loosen the glue or expand the metal.
Clean existing spout - rub with a cloth to remove existing glue or debris.
Screw on the spout clockwise:
If the spout finishes just short of straight - insert a screwdriver into the spout and tighten clockwise.
If the spout finishes halfway and won't go any further no matter how you try - you will have to use PTFE Sealing Tape or Threadlocker Blue 242 glue...while inconvenient it is necessary.
