The filter has no ridge*, and comes with a flat bottom and a cylindrical profile with a perforated area of 49 mm and 715 holes.
Details:
E&B LAB has an extra 54 holes at 715 and is our best-selling precision basket.
More holes mean a finer dispersion, greater extraction, and dryer pucks - you may have to adjust the grind slightly. (The Nanotech and Barista Pro have 661 holes.)
The F at the center of the product code is Flat bottom and NT at the end of the code means Nanoquartz coating
This shape creates a compact coffee pod that delivers a fully exploited extraction which also facilitates drying and expulsion. The advantage of this technology is greater anti-adherence that facilitates the coffee puck removal from the filter. In addition, this technology improves the filter
This is a high-quality filter basket with a smoother and higher gloss finish than a standard filter basket. Its conical and circular holes with electro-polished finish ensure the best possible and consistent coffee extraction and the least amount of sediment.
E&B F Features:
The flat bottom allows a more effective extraction.
Available in 28mm for naked portafilters.
Suits 58mm or 58.5mm tampers.
This filter basket has no ridge* for a better tamper seal

Aisi 304 steel - food-safe certified.
Electro-polished: smooth surface with unmatched sanitary and non-contaminating qualities is obtained.
Extra 74 more holes than standard IMS filter baskets
Precision finish ensures a smooth surface for ease of extraction and reduces old coffee sticking to holes.
Made and designed in Italy
Fits models: (Almost all portafilters with 60mm diameter)
Breville: Oracle BES980 | Oracle touch SES990BSS2G | Duel boiler BES920, BES900 - 28mm may not fit stock double PF
Perhaps a shortcoming in research on my part, however, this basket is very disappointing when used with a bottomless portafilter. I have another IMS basket which gets the perfect rat-tale flow, but just cannot get the right flow with this. The flat bottom results in multiple streams and a messy extraction.
