This particle filter is for machines with a water tank and fits on the silicon tube.

Always best practice, to add a filter in order, to prevent particles from blocking the pump or group solenoid.

You won't need this filter if you are using filters that attach to the tube such as BILT.

You will need this if using passive water softeners ( softeners that are not attached directly to the silicon tube) such as BILT, Britta etc
