This is a pre-filter that is fitted before the water filter. 

It is designed to remove sediment such as iron, rust, or sand sediments, which can block the pump and solenoid valves.  A standard water softener or water filter will not prevent sediment from wreaking havoc with your valuable asset.

If you have had to replace a rotary vane pump in the past then this will prevent:

1. The coffee technician call out bill.
2. Valuable downtime - while waiting for technician and parts.
3. Pump replacement or more.

How does the sediment pre-filter work?

• It works by absorbing the particles in the internal filter. Any future build-up of sediment will be visible from the see-through cartridge.

Contains: 1 x  Replacement cartridge

Maintenance simply involves replacing the cartridge. The operation must be performed at least once every 6 months or whenever the cartridge looks dirty.
