This is a chrome-plated brass mushroom for E61 groups - see note below and see fits tab.
It comes with the chrome-plated brass mushroom only - gaskets and Gicleurshould be purchased separately.
Why buy?
Mineral buildup on the old mushroom - The mushroom fitting can corrode over time, depending on the mineral content of the water used. This is a simple-to-do replacement and should restore the flow of the coffee.
Coffee or water flow has slowed down coming from the group - when you pull the lever.
- Remove the hexagonal chrome nut on the group -(Make sure group is cold, machine is switched off and if plumbed to water mains, turn off water mains tap.)
- Remove existing brass gigleur and gauze and old viton white o ring. Clean brass gigleur and gauze
- Remove old mushroom and reinsert gigleur into new mushroom.
- Add Teflon o ring
- Insert the new mushroom - Hand tighten the hexagonal nut initially and tighten slowly - test the seal with a blind filter.
I dont understand what is stainless steel in this item? The stalk itself?
Price for 1 item? The O-ring which fits onto the base (as seen standing up in the picture): price

Hi Jonte, This mushroom is made from chrome-plated brass and the o rings listed need to be purchased separately. Yes you are correct - the price is for 1 item.
