Description:
These new blue cafelat silicon gaskets are made from heat-resistant, food-safe silicone and are 7.8mm tall - 1mm taller than the red ones.
They last longer, don't go hard like the standard rubber seal, and are very soft, making a big difference when installing or removing them as they are more pliable.
As with any silicone seal, you should only use food-safe silicone grease to lubricate them, do not slather it on, a sheen is sufficient. Please note that although the gaskets are strong under compression, you should never use a sharp tool like a screwdriver to install them. This may tear the silicone.
