It comes with the metal strip inside the knob for traction, so knob wont fall out during use.

How to fit:
 
Gaggia Steam Knob 3
 
It may be a little difficult to insert the steam knob on to the brass part of the steam tap at first.
This makes sure that it will not slip off in the future.
The curved part of the brass tap rod should be pressed against the internal metal strip and then press the knob on firmly to brass steam rod.
