Dynamometric Pressurised tamper - when you need consistent pressure applied - each time.
This coffee tamper has an adjustable tamping pressure range from a minimum to a maximum of 15kg to 21kg.
Calibrate the tamping pressure and level tamping results in a perfectly flat horizontal surface for even and consistent extractions.
Why a Dynamometric Pressurised Tamper?
Since the same pressure is applied, this will remove the inconsistencies associated with numerous staff members applying varying pressure rates to ground coffee.
The tamper can be adjusted by turning the handle clockwise or anticlockwise to decrease/increase the pressure. Turning the handle clockwise will tighten the spring and reduce the pressure required.

We needed to take all the skill and inconsistencies out of tamping.
With something like this, it's practically impossible to be inconsistent and makes the process much easier and quicker and is by far and away one of the best things to nail consistency across multiple baristas.

We tested the 57mm tamper with the IMS single basket.
There was a little play - 2mm. The IMS B642TH19.5N basket is 57.5mm at the top (and less as you go down, as the basket is tapered) The Ascaso i.280 has even more play - as it 57.3mm inside.
So not a perfect fit - a little loose on both baskets.. :-(

Hi Frorian, our Lelit Anna generic stock basket is 57mm - so the 57mm tamper should be fine. The IMS basket is 57.5mm so 57mm tamper will be loose.
