This is a generic unbranded orange silicon group gasket made specifically for Sage or Breville* machines that use the 53/54mm portafilters.
You will know when to change your group gasket:
If coffee leaks from PF when making a coffee
If coffee cream is less than it used to be.
💡 We recommend that you keep a spare gasket - save €€ and no more tears.
💡 If your portafilter finishes at 5 o'clock - you may need a supplementary gasket Rubber shim Gasket 64mm this will correct it and finish at 6 o'clock.
When to replace:
When the coffee starts to overflow from the handle when making a coffee. You won't have the correct pressure to extract the coffee, leaving a diluted watery taste in the coffee.

How to replace a Breville Sage gasket
Press the POWER button to switch the machine off and unplug the cord from the power outlet.
Carefully remove the water tank, drip tray and bean hopper.
Insert the shorter end of the Allen Key into the centre of the screw. Turn counterclockwise to loosen the screw.
Once loosened, carefully remove and retain the screw and stainless steel shower screen. Make a note of the side of the shower screen that is facing downwards. This will make re-assembly easier. Soak the shower screen in warm water and Puly Urnex or Cafetts detergent - rinse thoroughly.
Remove the silicone seal with your fingers or an awl.
Insert the new seal, flat side first, so the ribbed side is facing you - see the image above.
Re-insert the shower screen, into the deep channel - ensuring the shower sits in fully - see note below.
Insert the portafilter with the basket - to press the gasket and shower into place.
then insert the screw.
With your fingers, turn the screw clockwise for 2-3 revolutions then insert the Allen Key to tighten until the screw is flush with the shower screen. 8. Re-insert the drip tray and water tank
⚠️If the shower is not inserted into the silicon gasket channel, correctly - your shower screen will cut into the soft gasket - causing a leak. Pull the soft silicon with your fingernail and let the shower screen slip into the grove.

gasket had gone, coffee leaking from basket and not building pressure. Allen key to remove filter, tweezer to pull out the broken gasket and fit the new one, easy fix. Coupled with the Universal Rubber shim Gasket 64mm as the basket was at the 5 o clock position when closed so needed the extra bit to create a better seal. Delivered the very next day!
