Ascaso group gasket set for Ascaso Dream, Arc, Basic, and non-professional Steel models made after 09/2012
You will need to change your gaskets every 1-3 years.
You should also keep a spare under the tray for when you need to replace the gasket.
Why buy?
When the coffee starts to overflow from the handle when making a coffee.
You won't have the correct pressure to extract the coffee, leaving a diluted watery taste in the coffee and very little crema.
Insert the new group gasket back into the group - use the portafilter to screw on the gasket.
Insert the brass shower holder and screw on 3 screws - use a portafilter to tighten the gasket further.
Finally, screw on the shower screen.
The gasket will be stiff for a while - but there will be no more leaking and crema should be restored.
*If after cleaning the shower screen - it has some blocked holes, you should replace the shower screen. Once blocked after cleaning very hard to remove the carbon. ascaso shower screen
