How to backflush:

This blind filter is used for backflushing the group head and for soaking the portafilter baskets and metal parts of the portafilter.

• Insert the filter basket into the portafilter.
• Insert the group head cleaning detergent  into the filter basket, 
• Turn on to make coffee, run for 5 seconds, and then turn off 
• Repeat steps 3, and 3 times.
• Remove the portafilter and clean under the tap
• To Rinse the group repeat step 3 once.
