Why buy?
If you are losing power or getting a leak from the top of the machine, take a look 'under the hood' and see if you can see staining on the boiler.
If you can, then make a coffee while looking at the boiler and see if it leaks - If it leaks replace the gasket. They have an average life of 4/5 years before degrading.
